sometimes i neglect my friend netflix.

but i shouldn't do that, because netflix sends me many cool things.

recently netflix sent me the chumscrubber, a donnie darkoish descent into the bright, sunny hell of suburbia. kids vs. grown-ups.












netflix also brought me gritty graffiti indie bomb the system, starring mark webber.







i may end up being the founder of the mark webber fan club.

i interviewed him years ago when he was doing teen movies, and his story - he used to be homeless, now he's working alongside hollywood heavyweights - really moved me.

he's also an excellent actor, the new york times raved about his appearance on stage in american buffalo with william h macy.

and yeah, he's cute.

i see him in the hood now and then, ludlow street or avenue A. he's always nice, asks me if i'm still writing.
