unprecedented heat on the F train

this morning i was running late, so my timing was off --
i was on a different train that i usually take, with a different crowd than i usually see.

and i'm here to report that there were an inordinate number of attractive young men on the subway. the troll-to-hottie ratio was way off, and it was incredibly enjoyable!

i had the pleasure of standing near a tantalizingly ethnically ambiguous twentysomething man whose skin and eyes were a honeyed golden brown. shaved head, fitted army green military-inspired jacked, yellow striped shirt, high-end jeans, low-profile dunks. gorgeous. i made valiant attempts not to stare at his chiseled cheekbones as i imagined his origins. brazil? egypt? iran? queens? there was no way of knowing. and at west 4th street i had to leave him behind.
