so yeah. you may know i work at a teen magazine. cool, cool. ok.
so i'm interviewing this actor, he's on a TV show, it doesn't matter which one.
and this actor is calling from LA and we're talking about music, and paintball, and james bond, and rollercoasters, and Liam Neeson and M. Night Shyamalan and how listening to music is not necessarily passive, how music stimulates thought, and so on and so forth, really easy, really light, really fun, and then at some point he says, yeah, i went to six flags last year for my birthday, when i turned 15.
and some large metal gate comes crashing down in my mind and slams on my toe.
FIFTEEN. so young! so embarrassing that i enjoyed talking to him! so weird that it's one of the more fun conversations i've had this year, but then again, it's only feb 1. right? right?
